40,000 tonnes of PVC given a new lease of life

To maximise the recycling of old PVC waste, we built a state-of-the-art recycling plant in Diksmuide. We process 40,000 tonnes of old windows a year, making us the largest window recycler in the Benelux. Thanks to our efforts, 2.3 million fewer windows end up as waste every year, and thanks to the recycled raw materials we incorporate in our new window profiles, less energy is needed as well. The good news continues, as a PVC profile lasts 35 years and can be recycled at least eight times without loss of quality. This means our windows have a total lifespan of up to 300 years.
